The Rovic Shearer trailed MKIV-Fieldspan range with an optimum working depth of 100mm has been developed specifically for seedbed preparation in broad-acre working. The trailed implements, ranging in size from 5.7m to 11.2m suited for tractors of 80kw to 170kw is fitted with the proven spring-action “S-tine” affording it unique protection against obstructions. The tine spacing of 150mm, with increased space between the rows, facilitates trash flow. Depth control consists of dual depth-wheels on the central section, with single wheels on either wing. The depth of each wheel set is individually adjustable, using a mechanical screw. The frame can tilt forward hydraulically to facilitate turning at the end of the field and to clear trash when working under adverse conditions. A range of optional equipment like finger harrows and seedbed rollers can be fitted to assist with optimum seedbed preparation.
