Kuhn – SDE

The Kuhn SDE with working widths of 17 and 19 rows @ 17cm and 15.8cm spacing is rated for tractors from 75 – 83kW and has the same attributes as the SDM Versatile. It has specifically been designed for the contractor who would like to move the implement from paddock to paddock without having to worry about transport width. The SDE model is designed to overcome this problem by having the depth wheels fitted at the rear of the implement. This reduces the transport width from 4.46m to that of 3.0m. (Large gain units can unfortunately not be fitted)

SDM Select fine seed drill
The SDM Select (Medium duty seed drill) ranging in size from 11 – 21 rows @ 17cm spacing is rated for tractors from 50 – 90kW and the exceptional load to weight ratio makes this a light compact machine with great cutting effect and easy adjustment / handling.

One of the key features in the design of the SDM Select (Like that of the SDM versatile) is that the double disc openers are split over two rows / gangs spaced at 120cm to ensure excellent residue flow through the seeder. This configuration makes it possible to have two sets of seed and fertilizer boxes where one set would supply the front disc gang and the other the rear.
